Gluten Free diets are seen all the rage nowadays. You can see gluten free foods in supermarkets, and restaurants. News about gluten free diets are all over social media. What do people really know about gluten free foods?
Our survey results have some surprises. A majority of people responded that they started eating gluten free products, and others said they try to avoid gluten free products.
A quarter of the people in the survey thought that gluten free food has more nutrients that foods with gluten.
More than a third of the people interviewed thought that a gluten free diet will help them lose weight. In fact, studies have shown that gluten free diets can increase the risk of becoming overweight. However, there is no research that provides this to be true.
