Gluten Free diets are seen all the rage nowadays. You can see gluten free foods in supermarkets, and restaurants. News about gluten free diets are all over social media. What do people really know about gluten free foods? 

Our survey results have some surprises. A majority of people responded that they started eating gluten free products, and others said they try to avoid gluten free products.

A quarter of the people in the survey thought that gluten free food has more nutrients that foods with gluten.

More than a third of the people interviewed thought that a gluten free diet will help them lose weight. In fact, studies have shown that gluten free diets can increase the risk of becoming overweight. However, there is no research that provides this to be true.

     Forgiveness letter.

Eder and I are really good friends. We became this close at the end of our third semester. In the fourth semester, we started taking the same classes and shared a schedule. During this semester, I met new people who are still friends of mine, but we don't talk as much as we used to. In this semester, we only shared one class.

Six months ago, we had a misunderstanding. I'm not going to say a lot about this, but from my point of view, I think he misunderstood because there was a lack of communication between us. Eder and I talked a little bit on WhatsApp, and I thought it could solve everything. I mean, we could still talk as if nothing had happened. But it wasn't like that. We stopped talking for 2 and a half weeks, if I'm not mistaken. After these 2 weeks, we had a presentation for our class. We were on a team with our friend Jessi, who witnessed everything between us. During these 2 weeks, the only interaction we had was on our team WhatsApp group. Eder was the leader, and I suggested he upload the homework. That was the only interaction. During the presentation, we both said, "Family, we need to talk." Guess what? We didn't talk because it started to rain. We talked after 2 days. We shared our experiences, and we ended on good terms.

Internet 👩‍💻.

     What would you do without internet?

Okay. I need to confess that I use the Internet for everything, including having fun. When I am doing my activities, I need to listen to music; that's a simple example. No internet equals no music. During the pandemic, there was a problem in my neighborhood; we didn't have internet for around a week and a half. It was so stressful for me because, of course, virtual class. Thankfully, my teachers understood my problem. They told me not to worry.

When I do my homework, I need to search for information, so I use the internet. The internet has facilitated my life so much. I am pretty sure we couldn't live without it. As I said, we use it for everything: school, work, having fun, and communicating with others. But something that I know is I don't need the internet as much as I need energy.

Technology in classroom 🏫

    We have to admit that we are in a technological age, nowadays we use technology for almost everything, and I can assure you that many of you can stand a day without your cellphones. Basically, having a cellphone has become a necessity, and education is not an exception, for example, when we have to attache our tasks, we use platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Virtual Horizon, and in this case, Blogger. The point is that we can use technology not only for entertainment, we can use it to study, for example, we have dictionaries on the web in which we can look for the meaning of a word in seconds, and not only the meaning, we can hear the pronunciation, synonyms, antonyms and so on. We can take advantage of the technology, but we must know how to use it. 

Blind 🙈

    What would you do if you were blind? 

I've been pondering the daily challenges faced by blind individuals. During my last semester, I had the privilege of taking classes with an inspiring blind woman. Despite her condition, she demonstrated remarkable dedication to her studies, which I deeply admired. I remember a specific incident where she firmly reprimanded a classmate for being overly talkative. Her proficiency in English was impressive, and she even encouraged us to ask her questions at the end of each class. When we inquired about her teaching methods despite her condition, she explained that her love for English served as her inspiration, motivating her to overcome any obstacles with unwavering determination.

Ariana Grande🎤

    Ariana Grande-Butera is a singer, actress and businesswoman. She was born on June 26, 1993, in Boca Raton, Florida. She started acting and singing at a young age. She played in Broadway at the age of 15. She played the role of Cat on Victorious, A Nickelodeon show. Cat was a loved character that she has her own show with Jannette McCurdy, playing Sam. Ariana Grande released her first single "Put your hearts up" on Decenmber 12, 2011. On 2013, Ariana released her fist album, Yours Truly. This album had such great featuring, such as, Mac Miller, Mika, Big Sean and Nathan Sykes. 

    Ariana Grande has influences from the 90s from pop diva, Mariah Carey. Mariah is one of the favorite artists from her. On her second album, My Everything (Which is my favorite btw) she sold 169k copies in its first weak. Problem, featuring Iggy Azalea debuted at No. 1 song. The album itself debuted at NO. 3 on Billboards Hot 100. 

    Dangerous Woman was released on 2016. This album debuted at top 100 on Billboards Hot 100. This album was history on her career. She became the first artist to lead singles in the Top 10. This albums has collaborations with Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Macy Gray and Future. She was having so much sucess. She was on World Tour. On May 22, 2017, during her concert on Manchester. A terrorist attack was ocurred. This date is important to us her fans. One weekn later, she did a free concert in the same place. 22 died. "One love Manchester": 

    Sweetener. She returned singing on April, 2018 with the lead single, No tears left to cry. This album debuted in mid-August. With this album she won her first Grammy, Best Pop Vocal Album in Frebruary, 2019.

    thank u, next arrived 5 month later of sweetener´s release. This album was number 1 on Billboard. She hold number 1, 2 and 3 on the Billboards Hot  100. She broke The Beatles record. On 2019 she was the headline Coachella. She made such good collaboration during this era. She won "Woman of the Year", and she said that it was the best years of her career but the worst in her life. 

    Positions was released on 2020. During this era she was very hated. Everyone started to hate her. 

    After 4 years, she released eternal sunshine. This was her comeback. Its going well. She hold number 1 on Billboard. She is going well now.

    She will play the role of Glinda in Wicked. She always wanted to be in Wicked. 

Plans 📆

    My plan to go to CU was canceled by my best friend, Jesús. He and I were supposed to go together. Since it was my first time going to CU, he decided to help me. That day, my friend called me and apologized. He said, 'Hi Leo, I am sorry, but I wouldn't be able to go to CU with you.' I told him it was okay, although I was very nervous. I didn't know how to get there.

    I walked to a middle school near my faculty. I took the bus, and when I got off the bus, I was at "Parque Ecologico." I called Jesús to tell him I was lost. He tried to help me over the phone, but he gave up. He didn't know what he was doing. I had to ask a guy for directions. This guy was very helpful; he took me to the bus station

Store 🏪

     A new store opened near my house. I think it's around 10 minutes. The store sells a lot of products. Clothes are usually sold there.  Some people got mad because this store was very popular. Some stores were affected by this store. That is the main reason why people get mad. 

    Here in my community, there are a lot of similar problems. A new gas station was opened here. But if you keep going, you will find another one. The new one of course was cheaper. This means that a lot of cars fuel their tanks there.

Time ⏱️ or Money 💸

 What do I prefer; time o money?

    First I would like to say this remind me of when I was mugged. The guy said the same thing lol. He said: If I ask you what do you prefer; your time, your money or your life?. I anwered him: I dont know?. He said, of course your time. I wasnt undertanding what was going on. Anyway. I think I prefer time. I dont know. If I honest. I dont have an answer now. I could say money. But Im not sure. If you have time, that means you can make money. But if we´re honest. Imagine to have money without work. Itll be amazing. I think time is money.

    I prefer money. I would like to have time well spent. I need to organize my ideas in my daily activities. It also will help me to my quality of life. This could be a good balance. Since I'm studying for my degree my lifestyle has changed. My lifestyle had a boost with my friendships. It was worth it. At this time I can't afford things by myself. I had worked but I didn't get paid. So that means I took a salary cut.

Coffee ☕

    The last time I went to a café was about two weeks ago. I used to go every Sunday with my family. We usually went to Starbucks. I don't remember when the last time I went to Starbucks was, but I still like it. However, I'm thinking of trying new cafés. It seems like a good idea though. I remember I have never had a bad experience in these places. They make customers feel confident. I recall one instance when I was with my brother, and I asked him, 'What is that?' The girl who was making my coffee overheard me; she simply said, 'It's just a blender,' and started laughing. When I go to Starbucks in Parque Puebla, I highly recommend the first floor. The service there is better than on the third floor.
